This great new rainbow Riches game features all that is great about Rainbow Riches – the Pots of Gold and Pathway to Riches features are still there - the new game has an extra twist too.
The scratch card consists of nine panels to rub off (in a 3 by 3 square). Various small cash prizes are available (for example, with a one pound stake prizes range from 20p up to a fiver). These are won in a similar vein to the feature games – you need three matching symbols.
Play options include the opportunity to slowly ‘rub off’ each panel (always exciting when you have two of something and are merely awaiting the third lucky symbol…) or you select the auto version, where all panels are rubbed off nice and quickly. The speed of the panel starching equates to the normal spin of the reels, so a fast game is assured for you speed merchants out there!
This new exciting variation is bound to appeal to players who not only like the traditional video fruit machine game but scratchcards too – it certainly means that Rainbow Riches, with its ubiquitous leprechaun – will appeal to a brand new audience!

Latest Release - Rainbow Riches ScratchCards - 29/03/2011
Rainbow Riches manufactures, Barcrest has announced a new member of the Rainbow Riches familly. The ‘Rainbow Riches: Scratch to Match’ is soon going to be available online.

One of the latest trends to hit the fruit machine world has been the concept of community play; where a small number of players (typically around six) each play a given slot separately in the usual way, but share the benefits of the feature game when it appears on any slot. The idea is to give a kind of team participation to what is traditionally a rather solo pursuit.
Rainbow Riches is one of the pilot games and the concept has been road tested at many land based sites. In the main places like Blackpool, Clacton and London Trocadero. Here, a number of players have sat at terminals and as soon as one gets the Pathway to Riches, every player immediately benefits from the same feature. However, the issue with team play is that if a player should 'slow play' a game, then they are getting what could be construed as unfair benefit; after all, the faster player is spending at a higher rate than the slower player! For this reason, and leading fruit machine manufacturers are minded to agree, this approach doesn't quite work in the bricks'n'mortar world.
However, online is a different proposition, as economies of scale mean that 'teams' of players can be fluid and, essentially, if you're spinning the reels, you are in the game. And Rainbow Riches will be part of the action very soon at Sky Vegas. Watch this space, and you can be one of the very first to experience the exciting world of Community play - as it is meant to be played - online!
